National Gallery Video Still We will be visiting three counties this year. In County Wexford we will be painting at Wells House, Tintern Abbey, Ballymore Demesne and, of course, Wexford Town. Wexford town itself will also be home to the ever popular Quick Draw and our two Nocturne painting sessions. In County Kilkenny Graiguenamanagh will be our port of call and we will cross the Hook estuary to paint in the charming fishing village of Dunmore East in County Waterford.
See a description of all the venues on our VENUES page.

National Gallery Video Still Alvin Mark, now a regular at our festival, found the time to paint, sketch, vlog, present two lectures and do a mural in 2018. You can see all his brilliant videos of the festival at this link;"
Our partnership with the National Gallery of Ireland continued in 2018. We have them to thank for several public art lectures, a screening of the 'Loving Vincent' animated feature film and a wonderful visit by train to the gallery for 50 artists.

National Gallery Video StillWe are delighted to have so many wonderful tutor artists visiting this year. Eight of them are travelling from the USA. Some of them have been here before but we have four new visitors from America: Thomas Jefferson Kitts, Kevin Macpherson, Peggi Kroll Roberts and Ray Roberts. Anastasia Dukhanina, although Russian, is now living in France and the brilliant local artist Kate Kos, will be sharing the watercolour workshops with Grahame Booth from Northern Ireland. Vincent Crotty and Dave West will return to give nocturne workshops which proved very popular last year.
